Raphael's ancestry includes generations of war machines, bred and created purely for fighting. Raphael's legacy was to be no different. He was to fight enemies he didn't know, without question or care. The problem was, he did care. He broke a lineage that wasn't supposed to have emotions or concerns for their actions. He began to question why it was they were fighting, and through a life where he was tortured and broken down, he questioned why he should even continue to listen to people who only cared about what he could do for them. He was very skilled, but very shut down and all he wanted anymore was to run away from war. Running wasn't easy, though. He had nowhere to go, he had no one outside of his comrades he could trust to help set him free of a life that left him traumatized.
That was, until Prisma was captured and handed over for him to train as a new soldier. She was from the outside. She had a family who missed her, a family who was part of the civilization he was trained to destroy. He was seeing someone for the first time as a living creature instead of a target to annihilate, and he fell in love with how innocent, and how resistant to his lifestyle she was. From the moment she arrived, she had her sights set on escaping, and together, they managed to make it work.
Falling in love took longer than executing their plans of escape, though. At first, Prisma saw him as a way to get out, and nothing more. But she learned through her time with him that he wasn't like the rest. The simple fact that he wanted to help her was proof of that, but she learned even more about him after they were back in her world with her people. Raphael had a lot of adjusting to do, and she felt it was her responsibility to help him learn what it meant to live a life where he had freedom in his choices. Where his days weren't filled with training and attacking. Where his sweet, compassionate nature was allowed to flourish. It was clear that fate led her to him, and while she resisted for the longest time, eventually it was too difficult to ignore the connection she had with him.
When it came to his children, all Raphael knew he wanted was for them to never be touched by the violent ruins of the war that still surrounded them. Instead of weapons, they were to shoot with cameras and document the beautiful moments of life. He wanted them shielded from the atrocities he endured. They became skilled with their weapons of choice, but they would never hurt anyone, only help spread awareness and creativity in the world.

If any of the pups would be considered overly proud of their work, it's Sync. Sync is a studio photographer who is finicky about the fabric of his backdrops, the brightness of his lights, and the usefulness of his staff. He is the last one you'd ever want to work with, because his standards are set to and impossible high. He buys the most expensive cameras and other equipment, even though it's entirely unnecessary for constant upgrades.
Sync loves fashion photography and is often in the presence of people with a lot of money, which might explain his rather snobby attitude. He finds his other siblings' work to be mediocre at best, and rarely talks to them now that he is busy with his upscale living. He isn't all bad, though. Behind his rather arrogant attitude, he is, above anything else, highly motivated and in love with his work. He is also very kind to his clients, and others in the same specialty as him.
Outside of his profession, Sync can be found sampling world renowned food and wine. He's also quite attracted to traveling and seeing the fashion industry across the world. His photos are known far and wide, and he loves giving presentations to teach others about his craft.

There is nothing quite like being alone in nature, and that's often where you will find Zoom. He always has at least three bags full of gear, and will disappear into the wilderness for days or weeks at a time, chasing down wild animals and unseen landscapes. He has the latest and greatest gear, and his photographs are plastered among the most renowned of nature magazines. His photographs are what he is known for, and very few people actually know the photographer behind the camera.
Zoom has a way with sneaking around and cleverly blending into any environment. That skill is what allows him to capture mesmerizing photographs, but it has its downsides. He's the person in the back of the party, seemingly not there. He longs to form more relationships with people despite his seemingly independent personality. Really, he's just a guy with very few words, though he loves the presence of other beings.
He connects with wild animals more than any other creature, it seems. He has been able to get up close and personal with the rarest of beasts, and has even spent long stretches of time living in the great outdoors, surrounded by creatures who only speak to him in behaviors.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and, well... a lot of people have a hard time figuring out exactly what Pixel's idea of a good photograph is. She loves close up, abstract photography. It's a very unique taste that is akin to her oddball personality. She seems to be all over the place all the time, and has one of those quirky personalities you either love or hate.
Pixel is one of those photographers who doesn't put the neck strap around her neck, throws her camera into everything, and makes other photographer's cringe at her scratched lenses. To her, the scratches just add a touch of flare to her art! Oftentimes she makes people question her sanity as she's leaned over a scummy pond to get close ups of algae, or reaching up to photograph the bark of a tree. There is no doubt her home will be filled with large canvas prints of close up sidewalks, dust, and debris. She believes it requires high end taste to understand and appreciate.
Annoying is probably one way to describe her for most people, not just because of her strange tastes, but because she is a major busy body who can never sit still. She jumps from one subject matter to the next, and thinks she is the best photographer in the family. Unlike everyone else's boring work, she clearly has a good eye for details that go unseen by others. When taken outside of a photography mindset, she's not all bad, though. She loves games and dancing, and is a free spirit who can be quite enjoyable amidst time outside of work.

Ricoh is the magic maker of the siblings, as he turns raw photographs into beautiful masterpieces. He works tirelessly at his job, fixing every little out of place speck to create as flawless a photograph as possible. He's also a master manipulator - photo manipulator, that is. He's great at making people look good, at turning boring landscapes into magical kingdoms, and at turning products into things that looks so sensational, people have to buy them.
Ricoh maintains a title of being the serious sibling. He will definitely nit pick his siblings' work, and nags them when they hand him photographs that need a lot of unnecessary work done. He constantly gives them lessons, even if they don't ask for them or want them. He knows their potential, though, and it bothers him when they aren't putting their all into their work.
When it comes to free time, Ricoh has very little. He is very good at multi tasking and rarely is without a laptop to work on, even when he is supposed to be relaxing. A workaholic, sometimes he just has to be told to take a few hours and enjoy the world around him, rather than the bits and pieces he sees in front of him all day. He's a hard one to make smile, but when he does, he's a rather charming and good looking guy. Deep down there is a softer side to him that rarely surfaces, and only a select few of his loved ones have seen it.

Rylo knows no fear, and it shows in her images of UFOs, cryptids, and ghosts. Her dream is to become the most well renowned paranormal photographer. She wants to remain reputable, and always documents every detail surrounding the photographs she takes. When she spots a ghost, she will research where she saw it to see if she can uncover who it was. If she finds a cryptid, she interviews others in the area to gather as much information as possible. She's detail oriented and very passionate about what her siblings would consider a ridiculous way to use her talents.
Rylo is working on a book full of her own documented sightings, and she continues to grow upon it by following leads and doing a lot of research to discover the paranormal. She is a huge history buff who loves to learn about the history surrounding haunted places and mythical creatures. While she may seem a bit eccentric, she has a lot of fun with what she does and is always a great listener when interviewing locals.
Those who get to know Rylo will get to see past her unusual obsessions, and see that she is very sweet and loving. If anyone shows even a bit of interest in the things she loves she instantly lights up, and her happiness is contagious. She absolutely loves anyone willing to join her on her adventures and is all to happy to share in her discoveries with those she loves. While her family doesn't quite understand her interests, it is hard to deny that she is incredibly fun to be around, and too much of a kind person to question.

Nikon is kind, gentle, and patient, which are all attributes that make her perfect for her job in pet photography. Ever since she can remember, Nikon has loved animals, and has thoroughly enjoyed creating lasting memories for those who cherish their pets. She prides herself on being able to do anything to capture an animal's attention to get that perfect shot. Everyone loves Nikon because she's always in a good mood, and is always ready for her next adventure with a smile on her face and her camera around her neck.
While Nikon loves looking her best, she also isn't afraid to get dirty, and often rolls in dirt, treks through mud, and is jumped on by pets all in an attempt to capture the very essence of each of her subjects. She's a very active and prominent member of many animal organizations, and does everything she can to learn more about animal behavior in order to improve her photographs and her relationship with each of her clients. She certainly loves animals more than people, but isn't opposed to striking up a conversation about pets any chance she gets.
Even outside of work, she is all about animals. She has a huge assortment of her own pets including gerbils, rabbits, and an assortment of other critters who make her life complete. She regularly fosters animals, and always has a full and lively home. While she is very outgoing when working with clients, Nikon is an introvert and loves spending her time off at home, watching Netflix while enjoying the company of her many four-legged, or sometimes slithering friends.

Sepia is less in love with photography, and more in love with collecting cameras and old photographs. In reality, she does love photography, too, though she prefers older methods such as film and pin hole photography. She is simply fascinated by the differing methods throughout history to turn a moment into an eternal still, and she never wants any of those methods to die out to modern technology. She is well versed with the inner workings of modern technology, too, and is who the siblings go to when they need a camera repair. She knows every brand and model in and out and has steady hands for dealing with small parts.
With a grand collection of historical photography equipment and photographs, Sepia could probably open her own museum. Instead, her love for old items extends beyond cameras, and she runs her own little antique store, though secretly it is just another way to get people to sell her more cameras. Her goal is to eventually collect them all, even if it is an outlandish objective.
While she doesn't take photographs nearly as much as many of her siblings, she loves to tag along with them and assist them when needed. She is very social and gets along with nearly anyone she meets due to her even and kind temperament. She loves a good conversation, and is always ready to listen. One of her favorite ways to bond with her siblings is to take her old cameras along on photography adventures with them.

There is something about walking down the street, camera in hand, and looking past the business around you to focus in on tiny, beautiful details of life. Sigma is a master at capturing life. He sees moments that most do not, and turns them into artwork. He can see the beauty in average things, and enables others to see how extraordinary ordinary parts of life are.
It is very rare that Sigma is caught without his camera, and it is also very rare to see him at home. He is a wanderer, with his lens guiding him from one subject to the next. He could easily have a gallery entirely to himself because he isn't set on one subject. Rather, he is set on photographing everything that he feels tells a story. He is very much lost in his thoughts, and is a very quiet person because of that nature. Shadow-like, he is silent and rarely spotted as he takes photos from afar of strangers who will never know how alluring he's made their life appear.
Sigma is intelligent, though he rarely shares his thoughts. He's very much polite and observant, and would rather merely listen to others than share his insights. When he does speak, it is with a smooth, pleasing tone that doesn't last more than what he needs to say. As much as he loves gorgeous people and places, he himself has both attractive looks and an enchanting aura about him. He's one of those people you simply have to enjoy because he gives very little reason not to.
